272/272...........The ONLY way to go. Stock, modified, whatever! 272/272. Good luck findin' them for under $600...now that HKS jacked up the pricing on all their shat.
264/272 USED to be the street set up.................back when 20Gs were RACE ONLY turbos. Hahahahaha Look at us now .50 street turbos for everyone!

Well no one here has comp cams, but I hear good reviews. I put in no vote cause I have stock cams.

I do. Just not on a running car to see how they do. I'll post up results as soon as I get them. Wish me :goodluck:

Web Cam's 276/274 and I had to retard intake cam gear a little, but I dont mind lumpy idle so I put back to 0 degrees. I wanted HKS back in the day, but back order then for 3 months. I have never had problems, although I believe others are better. I have Ferrea dual valve springs, titanium retainers and 1mm oversize valves for 1g cylinder. Over kill for my set up, never reving over 7500 and 20g turbo. Ryan has seen my car (MustGoFaster). :bounce:

Sweet. I hope they kickass. Cheap(er) and good.
Jason's car is done very nicely, and make some decent power. Too bad I didn't get to hear it run.

Well I have hk$ 272/272 cams and crower springs and retainers, there good. But if you want the best cams for your motor, have crower custom grind cams for your setup. That will be my next set of cams.

I don't get it though.
I have a Magnus 2G SMI, HKS 264/272 cams 20G Turbo (now larger) but my power band Dies off at like 7200 Dramatically. it didn't make power to redline.
It almost as if I don't have cams anymore. My lumpy idle is gone and it didn't make power to redline.
I'm hoping now with the larger turbo it'll be able to pull all the way to redline. (it better considering it won't probably spool till about 5200rpms)
When I switch my HKS Cams to the new head would I had to do that whole indexing thing or what ever it is again? or would the cams still be ready to go?

Your 2g head or O2 housing were probably holding you back before. Another good thing, you don't need to index HKS cams. Just slap on the cam gears and go. I haven't heard of any other brands that you don't have to.

strange cause everyone one I just recently talked to said you have to do that with HKS Cams (I had no idea about it till you guys brought it up just a short while ago so I asked Moe at Elite if they did that when I had them installed at Speedwerks way back when)
I was running a S20G Turbo then, but now will be running a GT3561 "S" cover 5 bolt T3 housing. .63 A/R hopefully sometime next week.
Just remembered my Oil feed line hasn't come in yet. so I need to find one this weekend and Cancel my order or just wait and hope that next weekend it shows up.
I need it to come from the Oil filter housing.
