In my defense, the correct way to brake on a gravel stage is to lock 'em up and pitch!

But in all seriousness, the testosterone was strong with that off!

Question for Paul, how did you go off there?

I just went too fast on a street. The road did not provide as good of a braking surface as I thought, and there was no way to make the turn at the rate of speed I was traveling and I creampied the ditch.

Stayed in it too long, huh? That'll happen.
At least you recognized you wouldn't make the turn and went straight off instead of going sideways and maybe rolling. Any damage to the car?

I made it to Florida in 22 hours driving solo with a trailer on the back. No excuses! :D

Miraculously, no. Just a few scratches on the 24 year old clear coat!
