View Full Version : No longer at White Bear Mitsubishi
2015 Tahoe/Yukon, they are piiimp, but maybe too rich for my blood. Would be sweet to find a used one which is amazing how many used 2015's with 10k miles on em you can find on Cars.com
We are planning on getting a 2015 denali XL in 3 years. We have been very happy with our current one. Had a few minor issues, but not bad for putting 80k miles on it. Only major thing was a tranny rebuild at 110k because Chevy put cheap plastic actuator pistons in instead of the aluminum ones.

Problem i had with the denali xl i had, is that its freakin huge, and gas hog.
The 2011+ Durangos have gotten awesome reviews. And the big thing is that it fits out needs as far as features, hideaway third row, and can tow. Kind of the sweet spot for us size wise, but still gets good gas mileage. Would be nice to get the hemi 8 cyl, but will likely end up with the 6 in the Crew trim.
Like anything its all about what your situation is and the needs/wants.

I don't know about you, but usually reliability and longevity are on every car buyer's list.

Toyota Sequoia?
My asking about a canyon 2015 model was in regards to the "smaller" pickups that are now the size of 2000 era 1/2 tons and still rated to 6k towing capacity, but even better they come with diesel motors too, with all motors having impressive MPG ratings for their capabilities.
Looking at a truck/suv DD to tow a car/trailer if needed.

The older canyons and colorados in I5 form can tow 5500k too, not just the 2015. The new ones are pimp though. Ive been looking at used crew cabs, but for the price of a low mile one, many other SUVs join in the crowd.
If I decide to go suv for a daily, ill be looking for something too, probably used Acadia, or something similar. Dont need tahoe hualing/towing power coupled with shitty mpg.

The 2.8L Turbo Diesel won't be out until the 2016 model year :-\ And they're basically going to cost what a 1500 would cost you.
The 3.6L V6 is supposed to have a max towing capacity of 7000lb with the Z82 towing package.l
And yes, Chevy Colorado = GMC Canyon.
