He's ok (all things considered), sounds like he'll be released from the hospital today.

Sounds like just one broken rib and a swollen face. Evo safety ftw I guess.

This can be moved back. This is what I posted on EvoMN:
As I'm sure most are aware by now, on Monday, Bobby was involved in a single car accident and ended up in the hospital. He has two fractures, one to his T5 vertebrae and one to his first rib, a bunch of scrapes and bruises, but he looks worse than he is. He had a passenger at the time, a coworker, who was discharged on Monday night with just scrapes and bruises.
Bobby and Sarah had initially asked that nothing be posted to prevent it from running rampant on social media before they had a chance to themselves contact those who should have heard from them directly, hence why I removed the thread here, as a forum user could easily take that information to FB or other social media. It has nothing do to with covering up the accident.
As for what happened, he was doing 80 pinned in 4th on a ramp, and I'm fuzzy on the minute details here, but a truck somehow prevented him from "apexing properly" according to his passenger. Effectively, he had to avoid this truck, which upset the chassis, and then overcorrected. They left the road, hit a light pole, and rolled ~3.5 times, coming to rest on the roof.
Many will recognize the car as Barnett's old RS. Both are lucky to be alive with the way the roof came in.

Right now, the concern is with Bobby's recovery, but eventually it will have to turn to his employment. The car was owned by the dealer, so the risk is very real of him losing his job over this. Despite that, the important fact is that both Bobby and his coworker will be okay, in time.

Glad to hear they will both be OK, and obviously hoping for the best regarding his employment.

Same and I am guessing we all feel this way.
Good luck on recovery and job status Bobby.
