We have been driving over 2hrs round trip to get our e85 pump gas. The thing is the last two times we have gone this year it's testing at 72. So how does the ethonol level increase to 85 with it just being topped off when needed? Also anyone here live in Duluth with a tester that can post up periodically? I'd even be willing to start a small fund for such person. Lmk what you think.

I know a guy in Duluth who use E85.
I know he doesn't bother to test it, I'd imagine you're only going to get actual E85 at the end of July/early August.

Forgot their mitsustyle usernames but we have two guys in the UMD group running e85. I don't think they even test it. I'll post on the page and see what they say.

Are you from duluth and looking for others nearby or are you in Grand Rapids like your profile suggests? Not sure what all you're asking about.
Testers are like $15, buy one!

Why not come to Bemidji? Lol Seems like it'd save a little time and be able to meet you fuckers.

Ok I have two testers, I live in Grand Rapids and I will never run untested ethonol in my car EVER!!! I have a high compression motor and I would like some e80+ to run boost on the streets. I am running e98 at the track or when needed.
Dsminmn I just assumed bemidji has less ethonol users than Duluth and I know bens supplies a station in Duluth and bemidji. Get your ass down there and test that shot for me...PLEASE lol. I'll bring at least a 55gal drum if it's good and hell I'll even make Jessie bring it to pg for all the people who need it.
Just looking to not drive to these pumps with a drum all to go home with a few gallons of grandpas old piss fuel not good enough for fires let alone boost.

That's kind of why before the switch to E98, the Evo was tuned on old E70. So it was already done around worst case so it wouldn't go boom with a bad batch of E85.
