im having a really weird no start.

getting fuel

getting spark

injectors wont fire.

I replaced mpi, replaced resistor pack, timing is all on.

the weird part is in my dsmlink log, my throttle is 100% and the tps sensor is 5v

this is without touching the pedal. then when I crank and look at the log it drops to where it should be, throttle reads 0, and tps says .63

the car wont start. just cranks

what do you guess think?

is it possible the ecu is telling the injectors not to fire because its being falsely told its at wot?

I have no idea why it wont start.

it was running, then turned it off. it hasent started since :madashell:

proving grounds is only 18 days away!!!!

im adding the log, maybe that can shed some light?

I can't look at your log right now, are any other sensors reading wrong or is it just TPS? Do you have a keystart signal while cranking?

Disconnect your tps connector and see if it's still pegged at 5v

What is ur tps offset? Did u check your throttle cables?

The TPS at 100% is causing you to get no fuel at all, it's built into most cars as a cure for flooding if needed.

Swap out the TPS with another one and try again.

What's wrong with the tps? Have u even checked to see what's going on yet? It could have came loose or moved. The throttle cables could be the issue also. Check the tps offset as well to see if it had been out of adjustment before and someone just used link to fix instead of checking the bolts and turning it to the correct value. Obviously mark can hook you up with a new one, but it was posted earlier to also check other sensors to be sure you don't have multiple issues as the tps is tied into a bunch of sensors.

No matter what, throttle cable problems would not have you at 100% throttle on the TPS. I'm assuming he didn't recently mess with the adjustment, that's why I'm guessing there's a problem with it. You could always ohm it out to know for sure, but swapping it with another is usually the easiest.
