~650 mile roundtrip cruise to Shreveport, LA this weekend and holy crap this car is incredible! No matter how fast I drove into a corner it was firm and planted, no issues, no squirm, no jittering...it just wanted to go faster!

Hit 160 with ease twice running against Tom's GTR, held 100+ through twisties for probably at least an hour during the afternoon session. They car had absolutely zero issues and had the A/C blasting cold the entire way. No hiccups, no over-heating...exactly like a stock car should behave. I absolutely love the rev-matching feature too; mid-corner down-shifts are smooth with no risk of throwing the car off balance.

Best of all, averaged 22 MPG overall for the trip, and 26 MPG on the way home Sunday morning :)

Very cool. How'd you do against the GTR?

Lost...but he's at 675whp on E85 :) I wanted to get a good pull in against him once he was back on 93 pump (562whp) but the roads were honestly so twisty during the afternoon session there was nowhere to do any side-by-side testing & comparing...plus we had a friendly chit-chat with a county sheriff in a church parking lot so decided to cool it for a bit ;)

Here's our route: http://goo.gl/maps/At52L

How is straight line traction in lower gears on that car? What's the tire setup?

Yes it is! The cruises down here are definitely more "driving oriented" than the cruises up there which I love...especially considering we still throw down pretty good at night

Loaded Landsharks FTW

Traction control allows for a decent amount of controlled wheel spin in 1st, and you'll get a little in 2nd while doing it's thing to keep the car pointed straight. Jump on it hard and it will get a little squirrely/sideways on ya though. The Z51's e-LSD helps with this quite a bit though, not sure how it would feel with just the standard mechanical LSD. Without any type of electronic aids I'd imagine everything through 3rd gear would be an adventure.
