Well here is list of my setup

50 trim
550cc rc injectors
190whinebro
ported 2g exhaust mani
external wg
2 1/2dp
3 catback
factory cat
gredy large fmic
type s bov
maft
bpr7 sparkplugs
magnecore wires
1g intake cam gear 2g one got bent..
just did timing belt job and balance shaft elim

no boost leaks
18psi of boost
pump gas
3 counts of knock at 7300rpm
only made 260whp

i need your opinions what could be wrong with my car... i will be going thru the whole engine bay to see if i am having something unpluged or a vacum line since i only get 15 for vacum at idle, and it used to be 18 before

I can't adjust my base timing since its a 2g... but i will check it today with the light
i'll check compression today too
but i need your suggestions what else i would need to check..

i made 260+ last year on t28 without ported mani and balance shafts removed..

Have you double checked the timing marks for the timing belt? If you are one tooth off on one gear, it will just be sluggish and down on power.

What kind of AFR's where you running?

compression test?
stock lower piping?
when did you do the boost leak test last?
just a few ideas.

ok, these compression tests were done on a cold engine... i'll do same tests tonight on a warm engine.
i did compression test and here is what i found when the gauge moved 4 times the comp showed as
1 165
2 168
3 170
4 172

when it pumped up 10 times
1 175
2 178
3 175
4 175

As for the cat, i don't like the raspy catless sound ..
but yeah i like trees...

Yes stock lower flexible pipe...

boost leak test was done on the dyno, there was a pin hole one but its minor ..

i heard some air bubling in the oil pan like its leaking by the turbo oil seals, and this is a brand new turbo..

anything else?

So you have a 50 trim with all boltons to support it but then you throw a stock measely 1.5" cat? I have a freeflow cat that I am willing to sell if you want it. Its 2.5 inches and quiets my exhaust quite a bit. I have a testpipe so I dont really need it any more.

Im not sure what your problem could be maybe turn up the boost some more :)

Check your timing too.. If your pulling 15 for vacuum your timing might be off or you have a leak somewhere.

how much do you want for the high flow cat?

I've studied fluid flow in school. So by that credibility and not from automotive experience, I would say you have two restrictions. You have an exhaust flow restricting where you should get a 3 inch dia. catalytic converter.

You have not fully utilized your 190 lph fuel pump. With the aid of an AFC and an SX FPR, you should be able to control your fuel pressure and fuel feed. The next step as I've studied would be to replace your entire stock fuel lines (www.stevetek.com) so that you would increase your fuel volumetric flow rate without increasing the fuel pressure.

My hope is that you will have been enlightened to travel a new avenue in search of your solution. Put that 0.500 trim to work!
