Awesome that it's an OEM option, never seen that before.
You can buy these setups for about $1500, like the AiM SmartyCam, or the ChaseCam/Dashware combo.

Yup, and with GM and others working with Google to bring Android to cars.. it should get pretty interesting.

It's like the NSA/Insurance companies watching you while you drive. Sweet! Not.

The good news for mitsu...them leaving would be by choice only.

Mitsubishi is a HUGE ass company, the car portion is peanuts. They are heavy into industrial items, electronics and all sorts of shit that more than likely bankrolls their auto line.

Obviously they are separate companies despite sharing the name, but I am guessing they share resources and funds if necessary but I could be wrong.

After buying a suzuki and them pulling out...it isn't as bad as it would seem. The biggest shit part is my car dropped in value by like 2000 instantly for no reason and parts are expensive. Good thing its been reliable so far.

On topic, new Vette ftw! But the new Evo is supposed to compete with the GTR so I would wait to see what they bring to the table. Mitsu has always made a solid performing vehicle for a good value.

I'm sure he was referring to MMNA, not Mitsubishi as an entirety. I wonder how much their different ventures really are connected, if at all.

I'm sure it's just a small division, which can be scrapped or sold if not profitable over time. :D Bidness is bidness.

Evo vs the GTR? wow.

I'd like this or see what the 2015 mustang has, that coyote motor is a beast!

I agree, that would be a huge leap forward for Mitsu if that's true. The GTR is the new poor man's supercar.

Not really anymore...when the GTR first came out it had a MSRP of $77k, but now it's $99k for the base model.

It's time Mitsu gets back to being a technology leader like they were in the 80's and early 90's. Hell, for 2008, the Evo X's drivetrain was pretty revolutionary, but 7 model years have come and gone since then.

Indeed. And they might step it up with the XI. But who knows. Until we see something, I will just keep hoping they come out with something cool.

The new vette has really grown on me and this option is pretty badass. I want!

I think i would still take the c6z though as they are cheaper and I can't afford a brand new vette.

Straight trade for my evo? Maybe they would buy a built evo, I am sure they could sell it at their mitsu one. :)
