Not sure if any of you watch this show or maybe you are familiar with last seasons famous "slap" where a friend of mine anthony got slapped across the face when his domestic challenger and him traded paint on the last turn.

I heard they are getting ready to start up a new season. And seeing as I live 16 miles from where this is filmed (carolina motorsports park) didn't know if anyone had thought about trying out for the tv show.

I'm excited to see the new season, I dvr'd it and watched when I had some time. Sort of dumb but its entertainment haha

I have been trying to talk my brother into seeing if he would submit his 24hr of lemons car. As I think it would be a riot to see a $500 beater beat up on the domestics. And seeing as cmcamp hosts 3-4 lemons races a year I think he might have a chance of getting a shot to at least cone out and try.

Its actually one reason I found my way back to dsmstyle actually been looking for a cheap dsm to possibly turn into a lemons racer. As my brother wants to race here but doesn't like driving yhe 10hrs from jersey to get here

The show is a joke. I don't even like watching it as I feel like I lose brain cells from doing so. lol

I think I saw one of their muscle car with an evo recaro seat. That green 69 Camaro looks sweet!

Ya anthony said he felt the show was catered so the domestics would win. But its to be expected when you have a title like that.
But road racing is still fun as heck, free track time (just have to pay to get here lol).

If I still had my dsm I'd sign up every year. But for me all it would take would be to make a right out of my subdivision drive 16 miles and turn right into the track lol.

And down here talking with people about imports vs domestics. It feels like the import perception of MN back in the late 90s where hardly anyone thought there would be a 12sec import around. Everyone talks down about imports lol. So just the fun of being able to opens the eyes of people would be great too.
