Yes you would need the crank sensor. And no the green top will not work

what am i looking at there?
i have read all of that info over and over.
like i said before i have a 2g everything with the 1g cas/harness wired how magnus shows. im am not going to add a potentiometer and chance lean conditions as i dont have a afc.

in order for me to use the 1g cas and have it work properly without a crank sensor then i would:
A: have to have a eprom ecu with all associated link stuffs
B: add a potentiometer

easier solution would be just to buy the crank sensor and 97-99 cas.

am i not correct with saying this?

Correct. I would just buy the right sensors for your car. You can probably get them cheap from people that do a 6 bolt swap, or go to a junkyard.

I forgot that you have a 2G block with the crank sensor mounts. Yeah, I'd go that way or buy Link.
