Below is the ad as I have it on Craigslist, let me know if anyone has any questions or is interested in it. Want it gone ASAP.
I have a 1995 4Runner with automatic transmission that I had the drivers side head pulled off to have rebuilt(I didn't take it apart). The middle cylinder had low/no compression. I checked the rings when the head was pulled and they appear normal. So I had the head freshened and planned to put a new head gasket on. I have the fresh head, but I never had it put back on the car. I have most the parts (if not all), but can't be 100% sure everything is there.
The car has sat outside for a while, so the three cylinders and deck surface have some surface rust, but should clean up with a little effort.
It has a clean title and under 114k miles. The interior is very clean(tan cloth), the tires are near brand new, has a tow hitch, and the car drove very well before I had the head pulled.
The rear fenders over the wheels have some rust starting and the rear gate has some rust.
For someone handy with motors, this thing should go together easy and be worth at least twice my asking price for just doing the labor yourself.
$1500 or best offer.
