So my dad is trying to sell one of his 7 cars as he can't drive them all and has zero reason to have this one.

It's a 1985 Rolls Royce that he inherited from my great uncle.

He has it up on a few places but was wondering where is the best spot to sell a car like that?

It's not every day people decide to buy a 20+ year old Rolls so its a hard sell. He has it up for sale for 29k or so which is reasonable as he has done his research but he doesn't know the best sites or whatever to sell a car like that.

Thoughts?

Craigslist.

Actually, Ebay is probably best for a car like that as you probably want national buyers. For local, I'd try Carsoup, but I don't know how much action it would generate. Another good spot would be a RR specific car board. The nicest Esprits come up on my Lotus board.

I'd say try DuPont Registry if he hasn't already.

Is this the same one that was in marks parents garage or was that his dad's?

Mark's dad had two of his own, this is a different one. This is one that marks dad and my dad's uncle owned.

I don't think Mark's dad ever owned this one but I could be wrong, can't remember now. His dad has had quite a few of them over the years so hard to keep them straight.

Craig's list or call around to limo services that advertise about having the good old RR's. Idk if a 20+ year old RR is worth more then 15K but its worth a shot.
