Just finished the 6 bolt swap into my 97 tsi. Went to put the driver side axle in and what do you know, don't fit. Cornfed mentioned something about the carrier bearing but I didn't quite know what he was trying to say. He said "you'll see when you go and try to put the driver side axle in". Well now see.
I think Cornfed gave me a 95-96 a/c bracket since there's only 2 holes on the bottom and one is used to bolt down into the block and the carrier bearing won't even reach the farthest hole anyways. I guess I should've told him I was putting it in a 97.
I need a 97-99 a/c bracket ASAP! Leaving to Duluth tomorrow in the afternoon so please contact me asap if you have one! Thanks!
