Alright looking to sell or trade my 98 jeep grand cherokee limited. It has the 5.9 litre v8 in it. This is the only year they put this motor in the grand cherokees, was said it was the fastest production jeep of the time up until the srt8 came out. Here are the specs on the truck
98 grand cherokee, 216,500 miles, quadratrac 4wd, leather interior, power moonroof, tow package, power windows and locks. Fully loaded! Has full k&n fipk
New parts
new radiator (has HD cooling so great for towing), new lower temp thermostat, new lower coolant sensor, new lower radiator hose, new trans cooler hose, electric fan hooked to switch to click on whenever you would like, new spark plugs, new plug wires, newer transfer case and was told motor had been replaced (do not have proof of either was from previous owner)
Needs
new cv joint in front driveshaft (currently removed so truck is 2wd), tires are getting a little low can probably get one more winter out of them, driver seat threads on the bottom are gone so seam is open, just needs restitched, muffler has a hole in it, doesnt effect driveability.
Overall this truck would make a good tow vehicle or winter beater, jeeps are known for going through anything and this one is no exception.
Reason for selling is i dont need 2 SUVs, so looking mainly to trade for a car, would prefer something that i can get in and go when i need it. I have my bike for nice weather riding but being in the midwest we all know that year round riding is hit or miss. Open to anything for trades, KBB values the truck in fair condition at 2893.00. If outright sale would like 2200 obo. Prefer to trade. Have clean and clear title in hand. Thanks
