Come on slackers I know there's more pics out there somewhere!
God, what a great time! Shit got downright rowdy both on the route and back at the hotel. Never had a room with 2 bathrooms and a living room before :D
I just want to thank you again Paul for organizing this event! The route was probably one of the best we've ever had--the bonus stage after lunch panned out perfectly (some went to hotel, some drove more--awesome!). The hotel was great and the weather was really not too bad!
Looks like a great time. My car should be good to go by next cruise, pretty bummed could make this one.
I just want to remind everyone that didn't come that we had 2 lifted trucks and paul led the entire pack in his n/a 5-cyl 5-speed golf on this journey. With snow tires. You don't have to have a "fast" car to come have fun on these things! If you want to just come cruise and have fun with great people, this event is for you!

Had a great time this weekend, thanks for getting it all planned out Paul!
I don't any pictures of cars, my co-pilot/photographer wasn't able to come on the driving part this time :(
I do have one picture. Of the Screw and piece of razor blade I found in my rear drivers side tire on sunday mornin :(. Thanks to Mark for helping me get back on the road, we picked up a plug kit at carquest and patched it up at the kwik trip.

Interesting, my car is yelling at me that my right front tire is low. Hopefully I don't have a similar issue, will check it out after work.

Holy fuck. My arms and shoulders are still sore from carrying around that mystery cooler shot and offering it everyone I encountered, my face is bruised, and my nose is sore as shit...what a great weekend  I also learned that I am a terrible wrestler!
That was a blast; rowdy and wild as usual, never too old for this shit, it just takes longer to recover now ;)
We got on the road a little before 7am yesterday and I was relaxing on my couch by 6:30pm. Mega thanks to Paul for setting up an absolutely stunning route! The roads were fantastic (especially the bonus stage) and the scenery was great. I'd be willing to do that exact same route again. My apologies if the GTR stirred up any trouble for people lagging behind...but, Tom also really enjoyed the route and was excited to be able to stretch the car's legs! I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to join us again. Hopefully next time we can get a caravan of cars from down here to join!

Man. I got turbo drunk Saturday. I slept from like 1pm Sunday until 9am this morning.
The "Bonus Stage" idea was awesome. Me and Cam skipped that and went to go find some dirt to drive our trucks on and found some awesome twisty dirt roads around HWY60. They were really well maintained and would have been lots of fun in a car, too.

The route was indeed awesome, I was mentioning to Paul at lunch that I could forward him my route to Pepin, but with the Bonus Stage, now I'm not so sure the extra twisties are needed unless people would want that.
You guys were booking on the Bonus Stage though, there was a while there where Shawn was legitimately trying to catch you guys... and we NEVER saw you. Made for a fun few miles though when he really had the hammer down.

We had the hammer down for probably 60 of the 80 mile bonus stage (37 & 88)! The GTR really is an absolute beast, especially on roads like that. I still swear we never passed any cyclists and only passed one lone motorcycle.
