Looking for the fitting that goes here. BeaterX cannot start without it, all dealers list this part as on backorder....

Any idea on thread pitch, size , length? I wonder if it could be the same as 1g dsm?

I run the same filter on my Talon as my wifes Ralliart.

I believe the oil filter is the same (MZ690116 or MZ690072) as a 1G, 2G, Evo8/9 so the fitting could be identical. The fat stubby one. The one pictured here is a narrow tall one but the threads are the same; I was planning on using it for initial startup only :)

If you could tell me the thread size and pitch on the housing side of the fitting Ill see if its the same! I have a couple of housings lying around I could take one out and see if its the same.

I'll see if I can get it measured but I don't know if I have a bolt big enough. The threads on the filter side are going to be the same obviously, but eyeballing it, it is probably the same thread as on the big 24mm banjo bolts on the oil filter housing and power steering pump.

If you wouldn't mind yanking one out and posting/sending me a pic I'd be willing to come get it from you and see if it works :)

Well unfortunately the fittings are part of housings that do not have a water cooler. I did pull one out of one with a water cooler and appears it would be too long for you. I will however measure the size and pitch here in a moment. The fitting looks like this.

Measured it to be M20 1.5 thread pitch.

I may be able to tap this but Id have to see if we have one at my workplace. I would have to tap and shorten it.

Thank you for looking! I will see about getting the part direct from mitsubishi....I'll follow up with you about going down this path if the other turns futile!
