The only place I can come up with is Bob's cycle ranch in little canada, are there any other good spots to buy/try helmets?
I'm thinking that I'm going to get an open face this year because I have to wear glasses for the rest of my life, has anyone used an open face with a tinted shield?
Thanks
Aaron
I used a closed face the past two years with glasses with no problem. I don't use a tinted shield, but did rock shades as needed. Bob's is a great place to go and actually try them on to make sure the fit is where you need it to be. If you plan on any other racing you may want to consider which helmet you really should get. The requirements are different and it would suck to need to buy another helmet down the road.

Thanks, I'll need it for Drag, auto-x and hopefully some HPDE's.

If you're buying locally bob's is probably going to be your best bet. They usually have the largest selection to choose from. You can always find one you like at bob's and try and find a better deal online.

If you want to do HPDE I would get one rated SA2010, it will last you the next 7 years. I really like my HJC AR10 II, but that is full face.
Edit: I bought mine from Todd @ track time motorsports, he gives you a $50 discount for one of his HPDE events at BIR if you buy the helmet from him. Or at least he used to.

+1 on the SA2010 helmet.
Try the following site: http://www.soloracer.com/. The HJC SA helmets fit very similar to the Motorcycle equivalents for sizing, Also get a full face, they are nice in that you can wear glasses and have a tinted shield for the road glare.

1) Did you see my latest email?
2) Are open face helmet's easier to get on glasses? I hate my helmet now for putting on glasses.
I'd probably get this: http://www.soloracer.com/pyrotectproair.html
Dude, take glasses off, put helmet on, put glasses back on.
