So, today I got my letter saying I was denied for my permit to carry, So since I have a home defense gun already, I won't be needing this.

Who: Erik 89_Colt_GT
What: Sig Sauer P250, 9mm, Full Size, 17+1
Where: White Bear Lake
Why: No need to keep it, could use the money for the summit I impulse bought haha
How: PM on here please

Gun is clean, like I said it's had 250 rounds ran through it at the range, never been dropped, or used in a robbery.

-Less than 3 weeks old
-only 250 rounds have been ran through it
-Bought new @ Bills gun shop in circle pines
-Comes with:
-200 target rds.
-Hard Case
-Thigh holster
-Hip holster
-Free range pass to bills for 2, w/ free gun rental ($45 value)
-Receipt, Manual, all documentation

Gun was purchased legally, Nothing shady, Just pretty bummed I can't carry it because of being arrested at my own house for partying too hard and apparently I was arrested back in 2008 when the cops at unidale ran my plates to make sure we weren't streetracering without insurance?? I think i'd remember being handcuffed or cited?!?!

ALSO: If you intend to buy, Please be legally able to possess a firearm

I dont mean to clog up your for sale thread but if you have any criminal conviction, you will be denied CCW Permit.

Your driving record does not affect your ability to get a CCW permit unless you have a fleeing police, using the vehicle as a weapon or anything along those lines. Being arrested does not matter either unless it was for a criminal offense like disorderly conduct, fighting, domestic abuse, resisting arrest, anything along those lines.

My driving record is shit, 6 pages long, been arrested more times than I can count but all little shit related to driving, nothing major. I've had my CCW for 7yrs now.

"In addition, you have failed to appear for court or pay fines for traffic violations on 7 different occasions, and you have had 15 traffic violations in the past 6 years."

But, I'm sure my arrest for being intoxicated at my own house party when I was of legal age, Makes me pretty wreckless.

It is the presiding sheriff's 'yay' or 'nay', that decides whether you can carry, I was however allowed to purchase it legally.

I would refile the paper work again. I would keep filling out the paper work. Or call them and see whats the problem.

Oh I got that one killed by a long shot. lol

When I got my permit, I hadnt even had my license for 6 yrs. It was revoked for most of it, never went to court, arrested probably a dozen times for failure to appear in court.

Oh the good ol days. Glad I dont have those issues anymore. lol

Permit to carry and permit to perchase have the same background requirements. Is the class you took certified for Minnesota permits by the state?

If so it sounds like your CLEO is being a prick. Try the Sheriffs office in your county.

GLWS though, my wife loves her Sig
