well this weekend i saw Troy and The Day After Tomorrow

Troy was an awesome movie, i was impressed since it had to compete with how good Gladiator was, but overall i actually learned alot from it and i was satisfyed except the GF kept looking at brad pitt :stick:, anyways, the only thing i didnt like was how pansy Orlando Bloom's character was displayed, anyways it was a great movie, espically the Helen character was so fine played by Diane Kruger

The Day After Tomorrow was an ok movie, it got you thinking on Global Warming and how things could be, the previews that you see on TV is pretty much the whole entire movie, for those that have seen it, its really chessey at the ending and that kinda annoyed me since the whole entire movie was great except that. Overall the movie was ok some things were fake but most of everything was awesome.

Just finished seeing "Day After Tomorrow" and I liked it. Scary thought though.

Theaters:
Saw Shrek 2 in theaters yesterday. Absolutely loved it. If you at all enjoyed the 1st one, you'll love the 2nd one.

Rentals:
Just finished EuroTrip tonight. It was decent... just another one of those highschool party movies--with less character development. Not a total waste of my $4, though.

Monster: Is that really Charlize Theron?! Who knew she could pull off a tom-boy lesbian killer, but she did. Very depressing movie, but well done.

Club Dread. From the makers of Super Troopers with pretty much all the same actors. Enjoyable movie. Had no idea it was supposed to be a psycho killer comedy till I started watching it. The humor was worse than Super Troopers, but some may appreciate it more.

Was the movie better then Roadtrip? would it be the kind of movie you watch with your gf or whatever?

I just rented a few.

Stuck on You was really good. Matt Damon was good. This is the siamese twin one. It looked really cheesy in the previews, but it was actually really funny. 4 out of 5 stars

Runaway Jury was really good also. Excellent drama with a little suspense and action thrown in there. Very original too, which was a plus. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Saw Van Helsing a couple weeks ago. The storyline was actually well developed. I was impressed on how they intertwined the stories of Dracula, The Werewolf, and Frankenstien in one soryline. I knew that the only living thing that could kill vampires were werewolves, but how they tied in frankentsien was well done. I was also impressed on how they did the werewolf transformations. The director said that he didnt want to go with a the traditional growing hair method. He decided to have the wolf grow out of his human skin during the transformation and rip it off once he was a certain size in the transformation. A nice change in tradition. Go see it.......

Saw Shrek 2 and I hated it...really liked the first though. Becky, who also liked the first, thought the second was really bad. Maybe it is just me, but there is practically no plot or storyline whatsoever; it was basically them just showing of their CGI animation or whatever its called.

There were more characters you could appreciate in Road Trip over EuroTrip. However, overall I think I enjoyed EuroTrip more than Road Trip. RT didn't really do much for me... I watched Euro with my gf and we felt it was worth the 94 minutes.

I agree with Jet on Runaway Jury. Great cast, great plot. I've always liked Gene Hackman.

I also saw Day After Tomorrow.
First I thought cheezy, then good special effects and such, then I was sitting there thinking that would really suck if it happend, then I got scared.

I just read the book a few weeks ago. I'm hesitant to rent the movie though. The book was awesome, and I've heard from a few people that the movie was good too. But the thing that bugs me is how the story line changed so much (from what I was told). I guess most movies based on books are like that though. I'll probably rent that one sometime.

The last movie I saw in the theatre was Starsky and Hutch. It was funny. Sometimes I like movies that don't make me think alot. Just some slapstick comedy, with a few crude jokes thrown in for good measure. This movie filled that roll very nice.

I also just rented American Wedding recently. I saw it in the theatre when it came out, but it was so funny I had to see it again. I like the dog scene in the beginning. Oh yeah, what's the capital of Thailand... Bangcok (sp?). I'm gonna hang out with my wang out!! Gonna rock out with my cock out.

Sorry, that last paragraph was kind of trailing off into nowhere. If you don't like it, then eat shit, shitbrick. :D
