Yeah, high load 5th gear pulls will toss rods a lot easier than a 2-3-4 pull will.

Was going on a little 'night cruise' Hit like 125mph.. coasting for awhile.. down shifted went to go accel again and I knocked, let off right away.. Thought I'd try it again and then boom!!! going like 60 maybe and only at like 10-15psi Remember hearing metal flying everywhere, seeing fire coming from under my hood and under my car, Shit flying behind me.. Pulled over and flames were shooting out the side of my hood, smoke just pouring out. Popped open the hood and everything was covered in oil and burnt. Smoked finally cleared.. and ohhhh helllooo that hole shouldn't be there... lol

Heard back from map!
The head should be done within the next week or 2, as well as the shortblock I'm hoping!
And got everything to assemble it now. New oem tensioner adjuster, Idler pulley, tensioner pulley, oem water pump assembly, Went with a Gates Racing timing belt, fel-pro PermaTorque MLS Headgaset, and MAP Ultimate Duty H11 head studs.
So now just gotta clean up the engine bay and get rid of anything that I don't need anymore and where to start on that I'm not even sure haha... Hopefully I'll get some new pics posted up soon! Just waiting on parts still!!

Trying really hard to get it done! And do the break-in procedure. Recommend 500miles on it before the tune.. I dunno if I'll get that far but we'll see. Really hoping nothing breaks during installation.. *knocks on wood* I still gotta pick up a 1g harness to use the 1g head, And figure out what to do with my power steering since it won't bolt up to a 6bolt.

You won't need a 6 bolt harness, You will use all your 2G sensors and the bracket from the 7 bolt will bolt to the 6 bolt block very easy for power steering.
Here ya go

You need to use a 1g cas still and use the 1g in a 2g magnus harness.
