Just trying to help here, I was out all day yesterday at DCTC where it was barely 30* and snow, sleet or raining all day. My rwd pos did fine, but obviously I'm not making the power.

So far the forecast says 53* and sunny on sat. 57* and rainy on sunday.

Come on guys leave the anger to me, I'm the one who is miserable and hates fun remember?

Good luck guys.

I am going to be doing the cruise on extreme summer only tires. Not skured :)

Also, last I checked, the Evo was developed to thrive in slippy environments at speed.

This weekend has been an interesting one, I mean it is supposed to be April right?

I will be there with the evo, I hope others show up in there evo's, if not..... your welcome to ride with me and Andrea.

*this is a public service announcement* I can see everyone is passionate about the cruises and wants to be safe. Lets be honest these cruises are never safe as shown by the track record. So with that in mind, please people use your heads, if conditions are less then optimal, no one is saying you must keep the hammer down or late brake. Just keep the person in front of you with plenty of distance, drive at "your" comfort level as no one likes to run out of talent. Lastly if you french fry when you should of pizza'd, you going to have a bad time.

Jesus Christ...

First of all, the forecast at this point looks fine. Second, there is more sand in vags than on the roads. Third, we've had snow on a spring cruise before and all was well. Why you ask? Because people drive to the conditions! Just because you're on a group car cruise doesn't mean the hammer has to be down. Just because someone in front of you is driving fast doesn't mean that you have to; this is why we now provide detailed cruise route map packets, and worst case you always know the end destination. Drive as fast, or slow, as YOU feel comfortable. No matter how modified or tuned your car is does not mean it has to be driven flat out; we have this really neat capability called low-speed drivability and mid-throttle operation :) In the end, it is your life, car, money, and insurance on the line. The Evo, and DSM, are excellent foul weather vehicles assuming the driver acts responsibly. Again though, based on the forecast at this point the worst we'll see is wet roads, but I don't even expect that.

Mark and Goodhart have the right spirit here though, this is going to be a very fun event rain, shine, or hailing cows! Nobody but yourself can keep you from having a good time ;)

You mean cruises don't require a 600HP car to be WOT for the entire route? Mind blown!!
