Since we actually have snow, is there any interest in going snowmobiling around the holidays?
Please reply if you would like to go, what dates, have a sled, and what area you would like to ride.
I will start:
Yes,
Dates: 15th - 16, 22-23, 29-30 December,

I would like to go but I need to fix my sled first if anyone is interested. I flipped it last year at 80mph so it needs a tie rod end, sway bar, and the clutches redone. Anyone know how or have the tools to take apart the primary clutch to shim it correctly? I live in Zimmerman and the groomed trails go right over my driveway and off to the state land up here which are pretty fun. PM me if interested in helping fix a sled first and then we can set up some dates to go LOL.

So we have few takers, I am planning on cleaning up the carbs on the older sled and putting in some fresh gas this weekend. Hopefully we get more snow this weekend. As far as working on sleds, right now I have a bum hand so it hard to get me to work on anything. My plan for snowmobiling was to be a casual since I had surgery last week. For dates, what is everyone thinking?.. maybe next weekend?

I would love to go riding, Only problem is I just sold my sled. If someone had one I could ride, rent I would go for sure. Iam free every weekend.

Just filling everyone in, the trails were just groomed over my driveway and look like a solid base for some nice casual riding. I have parts coming but not too sure if they will all be here by this saturday :( We will see what i can find locally.

I would possibly be down for riding up here on the trails by my house on the 23-24th if anyone is up for it. I should have everything done and running by then.

I am game for the 23rd, actually would fall in nicely with the preventive maintenance I need to do as well. I did not ride at all last year so the gas is 2 years old with stabil in it, going to drain the tanks on both sleds, luckily on one has efi so it should be pretty easy clean, gas, grease and go.
Also I have a sled (2000 polaris xc600 deluxe) to loan out but, if anything happens to it, you will have to answer to my wife as it is her sled.

Well I drove all over town today and got all but 2 of the things needed to get my sled back and running on the trails. Anyone know where I can get a sway bar end slide that goes on the trailing arm for an edge polaris chassie? After thats done then it is just to shim and adjust all of the clutching, clean, gas, oil, and go.
