The Italians make great beer!
A couple of weeks ago we received a shipment of OLD ANTONIA. This is an Imperial IPA from Birra del Borgo that has been aged in Calvados (apple brandy) barrels.
The result is an impressively hoppy beer with a refreshing appley finish. At 11.2% ABV, it would probably be best used as a nightcap, but I can also see this as a great accompaniment to apple pie or creamy cheese.
This beer comes in single 11.2oz bottles and is $14.29. It even features a resealable cap, so you can enjoy it over the course of a day or two if you wish.
It's here now!
