Hi i have a 2000 ford lightning with 81k on it runs and drives great with no problems.
Has minor hail damage on the hood and a exhaust leak off the header. All it needs
Has sloted rotors front and back
JlP valve body
JLP built shortblock Menley pistons manely rods
Diablosport tuner
Intake
all it needs is a smaller pulley to make big power

Why does it have built internals? Engine failure or building it up?

Previous owner stated was built for building up the stock blocks are only good for the 450 whp range. And that's reached by just a smaller pulley

I thought those motors are supposed to be the same ones that are in the terminator cobras I thought.

I know a few lightning owner's and I have never heard of that.

No sir the cobras are a 4.6 this is a 5.4 from the factory it's just a regular 5.4 with a charger bolted on. The 4.6 cobra motor has Manley rods and pistons I'm pretty Shure or Mahle one of those two
