I went to Bill's Gun Range in Circle Pines today and wanted a box of Federal HST .45 ACP 230 grain bullets. I bought also bought some cleaning supplies. Stupid me forgot to check what they put in the damn bag and they put a box of Federal Hydra-Shoks in instead.
I assumed they knew the difference between HSTs and Hydra-Shoks and I took their word on it. Either way they won't refund ammunition.
It's a box of 20 and was $32.95 o_O
I'll trade it for some 9mm ball ammo if you want to meet me at Bill's. You can shoot my M&P 9 and XDS 45 if you want use the range.

I have about 50 rounds of 9mm ball ammo. You want that and a free range pass?

How do you like your XDs, BTW. That's what I just bought. Haven't had time to put rounds through it other than when I rented it before buying.

Yeah sure, you got yourself a deal. PM me when you want to meet.
There are some things I like about the XDS and somethings I don't like.
I like its size, I have medium to small hands and I can get a full grip on it. My pinky doesn't hang off the magazine.
I like its thiness but I wish the grip had more buldge to it to fill the hand a bit more.
The front fiber optic sight is easy to acquire.
It's controllable for small and light .45 ACP pistol. I'm 5'6 and 135lbs. I don't think the recoil is bad at all.
I think it looks nice.
I like the trigger and the trigger reset.
I don't like the rattle of XD pistols.
I don't like how the spring guide gets all scratched to shit where it seats.
I don't like how the slide doesn't come to full battery when you have a round in the chamber and the slide gets nudged back a bit. The slide gets stuck and doesn't come to full battery.
I don't like how you have to really rack it hard to chamber a round. If you half ass it a round will not chamber.
