HAHA who tagged the thread with jdm? I don't think CF wheels would save that much weight, the fronts are only 9.5lbs and the rears are 12lbs.

Carbon wheels really don't save much if any from experience.

Got the new wheels and tires on. Previous setup was 16/17" TR Motorsports F1 wheels which were a double 4 spoke square shape, new ones are 15/16" Volks CE28N with 8 equally spaced spokes. New wheels are lighter, though overall wheel+tire weights are identical because I have about an inch wider tires all around now. OEM widths are 195/225, now running 225/245 plus I get to run the Proxes RA1 which aren't available in the OEM 16/17 diameters.
The sidewall looks pretty huge compared to what I am used to, but I'm sort of digging it, they look meaty. The new wheels are flat black but have a tiny bit of shine that should go away after a few miles of driving. The old wheels used to have a little shine too but the mega brake dust basically matches the tire color, which I like.

Next on my list is the APR wing sitting in the garage. It's about as wide as the car, and puts down about 180lbs of downforce at 100mph, a lot more than the 60lbs the stock wing provides. Yes, you can call me a ricer for having a big wing, I'll have pics soon.

I can't believe the OEM tire sizes! 195 is like a pizza cutter.
The new rim/tire set looks bad ass. Looks super aggressive!
