Yeap I do steps.

To speedfreak.

For carpet you could pay $9-$50/yard (average residential $15-18)

Install is from $4-6/yard

Take up is around $1.25/yard

Pad is bought in 30 yard rolls $100-$150 a roll

Carpet and pad price vary since there are different qualitys and styles.

Your bedroom would probably fall in to the minimum carpet charge which can be $125-$175 depending on if you find the labor or the shop you buy the carpet from does.

Carpet on step is a labor charge of $7 a step but also if this is all you have it would fall most likely under min. charge.

The reason for the min. charge is because the shitty mpg we get in our vans and usually only make $75 on a min. charge job.

Speedfreak

Your bedroom is 18yrds

So on average you should pay this

$450-$550 for carpet pad and install

Hope this helps.

Sounds good, thanks for the info.

I just bought some carpet(will have it later this week). Will need it installed and will need pad.

Once I have it, I'll give you a call.

Do you do tile work as well(your sig says "flooring") or just carpet install's?

Bumping my own thread. I did buy the carpet I noted earlier in this thread, but I bought it from an auction, took a chance on it being large enough.. and lost. Oh well.

Anyways, I just bought carpet and pad for two bedrooms this size.

CornFed2.4, You free anytime soon? Need this stuff installed.

Thursday/friday

Just left you a voicemail with basically the same info/questions as below:

If you want to text me your email addy, I can send you a couple sketches with dimensions of the rooms.

Also, if you can give me an idea of cost(based on the actual dimensions I can send) that'd be great.

Thursday or Friday works for me, let me know which day you'd like to this.
