I'm guessing I'm not the only one here who's painted there calipers before. In no way do I claim to be an expert on this, just did a bunch of reading online and asked around before deciding on everything, and figured I'd share what I did.
My front calipers were looking pretty rough. So decided to paint them. After reading around, asking around, I decided to just use regular rustoleum spray paint. Here's the before pic:

For prep, I unloaded a can of brake cleaner on them to get them clean. Then took a wire wheel to them. Then sprayed more brake cleaner on them. Here's what they looked like all said and done:

Then using tape, newspaper, whatever I could find, I masked off the areas I didn't want to get paint on. Then hung them so they were ready to paint

Applied 3 coats of gloss black rustoleum, each coat within about an hour of each other.

I let the last coat dry outside and with a fan on it for about 5 hours, then applied these decals I bought off ebay.

Last thing was I applied 5 very light coats of rustoleum clear over them. Let dry overnight, reinstalled, and that's it. Looks much better. Time will tell how they hold up I suppose.
