It took us more than two years to find enough time between customer projects to sort out the drivetrain gremlins that have plagued this car from the beginning, but we finally broke the 9 second barrier on Friday August 31st at Brainerd International Raceway. The car was making ~787whp @ 32psi on a Precision 6466 turbocharger and this was our second attempt of the day (we only got 3 attempts due to the size of this weekends event). Winter is approaching fast, but there is a lot left on the table and I'm excited to see what it can do with a combination of more boost and more seat time!

We're going to keep working towards that goal, it will be in smaller increments though (thus the EF4 to 6466 progression rather than straight back into the 76mm). It's hard to find time to work on these damn race cars being that our "race team" is comprised of the same people that are tasked with customer projects and rarely find themselves with downtime. If only BIR wasn't 2+ hours away! lol

The FD didn't do too shabby either ;) how was that ride, Chris?

It's really rewarding, even as just a spectator of the project (other than running parts around for them haha), to see some steps in the right direction with this car as well as the FD. We all get busy, when squeezing in customers always before the race cars, I know first hand the frustration everyone goes through with the shop cars. It's def. awesome to see both the cars making strong passes, and still nowhere near making their fastest passes. Going to be fun when these cars get turned up :)

Nice work guys, what you do you think of that 6466?

Does it really spool better than the 67mm but make more power?
Do you plan on turning it up some more and making more passes?

Good luck, when is the next track day?
