I'm told it was started and sounded good!
Ron's figuring out some issues to get it ready to go - airbag light is on, return fuel line popped off, probably clogged in the filter inside the bucket.

Picked it up yesterday! It's tuned to 20psi right now, the wastegate and blowoff valves are put to work. Definitely a lot more air coming in with the bigger intake and turbo. Going to put 500-1000 miles on it and bring it back for Ron to work his magic and see what we can get out of it.
I put about 100 miles on it, drove home from RS, then to a buddy's to help with a head gasket after the kid was asleep. Really liking the clutch for driving around... super smooth.
I will be at the dyno day, not dynoing but a buddy will be with his GTO, supercharged (but pretty low boost)
Ron sent over a bunch more pictures too.

Whoah, I didn't realize that the entire harness unclips like that--what a time-saver that would be!

Evo's all broken in and turned up now. Been posting more on evomn, but figured I'd put an update here. Lost about 500rpm spool and gained a bunch of power up top. This is on 1100cc injectors and a dw65c w/ a KB BAP, running e70 tuned rich enough to run e85 when the pumps switch.
I looked back and found a post where I said my goal was 450/390 on Ron's dyno... I guess we were pretty damn close! 454/388

Nice!!!
I'm glad you decided to keep it :)
Also, this makes me hopeful that I can get close to 450 too since you and I have similar bolt ons.

Thanks!
I never wanted to get rid of it - luckily it didn't have to come to that. We got fucked on buying a house in 2007, it's value dropped about 80k.. so even though we've put about 20k into finishing a basement and paid extra on the mortgage for 5 years, we're still going to have to pay a lot on top just to get out of it, IF we can even find a buyer. Plus putting together a down payment for the next place. But we're good now, and in less of a hurry to move anyway.
Yeah, you should make very close to the same numbers. Not much difference in our builds, really. Ron will probably be able to pull up my tune and just tweak it a bit... lol

^Glad to hear you are keeping it.
I was in the same boat as you, i bought in 07 or 06 at the height of the market, fricken blows. Oh well.
That powerband is so badass.
