WTF? Why so Many breakdowns? Sad I missed it. I'm taking the next weekend off as soon as it's released.
How did the frum rolls go?
I was quicker than EVOJ and spoolinturbo, didn't get a chance to run anyone else. Tachyon got scared and waved me off. :D

The roads were awesome, as were the shenans. I got lost for a bit with Leasure and we hit some roads pretty hard, that was boss. My car made it despite my constant groundless worrying these days.

Bobby sent me a pic, he's got a picturesque bay window in his block. The view is to cry for. :(

I lost reverse gear, yeah I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Anything to with those top-speed runs you kept doing?

I'm in a tow back to the cities. No idea what happens, but I'm leaking oil now.

:( Did you find a hole anywhere?

Good times

Awesome pics!

Lots of pretty even runs I'd say. I didn't see them all though.

:( Did you find a hole?

Sounds like he found one in the block. I hope it's covered under the lease terms

I got it back to the dealer and started digging around, pulled off the plastic panels - they were filled with oil. These are just a few of the chunks I found.

Did some more looking around and I could see an oil line disconnected. Then, I could see this though the manifold.

A buddy of mine got under it and took this picture.

90% sure I threw a rod, 100% sure I'm going to need a new bottom end. 50/50 whether they warranty it, and 50/50 whether I just take to DB and have one built! Either way, I'm sure I'll the Taurus will be out and about sooner than I had planned. RIP Engine #1 - 10,102 miles.

What's the angle on that picture? Trying to figure out where on the block that is...you said you had gotten a cyl 2 misfire code right? Is that in front of cyl2?

Wonder if a bad spark plug got you....

Wow that sucks. Your dealership knows you modded the car. I cant see them replacing anything.

Yeah that really blows. Hope you are able to figure out a plan to move forward.

On a side note, it was too bad my caliper bolt backed out. Because other than that (self induced issue), my wife and I were actually talking about how nice the SC is to cruise in. It's comfortable, new suspension drives really smooth, it's extremely quiet inside (nearly stock quiet), and really feels like we can pound on it and it just takes it. We're not constantly worried it going to break, listening and smelling something strange all the time worrying you are going to break down (which is how I almost always felt in the Talon). The car is parked, and I think it will remain parked while it undergoes some large changes over the winter.

Had a good time. Canal park was really cool to see, saw some huge barges!

It was taken laying on the ground.
Yes, it's right in front of the #2 cylinder, just under the manifold.

Yeah, P0302 Cylinder #2 misfire.

Once again Tina and I had a great time hanging out with everyone, I old man'd it and was asleep by 11pm. The lost driving that Spaz and I went on was a good adventure.

Trogdor sorry to hear about the motor failure. All of us with modified stock block cars are always one roll of the dice away from windowing a block. Good luck on the future build.
