Use a 1g harness and ecu in the colt. 2g stuff is a pain. I have done a few swaps alway use 1g stuff.
Can you still use a 2g engine then? Because I was under the impression you could.

Yep just use all 1g sensors on it. You need to use the 2g engine block mount and alum rubber upper engine mount to get it to sit level in a csm

Hmmm.. I'm not sure on which engine I'd want to go with then. Just considering I'd have to swap all of the sensors anyways.

Mods chime in if I am completely off base here:
DSMINMN.....Judging from this thread alone it appears that you are not that far along with collecting parts for your project.
I would suggest looking for a whole running car, and swapping it into the colt, removes a lot of "?"s and compatibility issues that you *ahem* WILL run into.
I've seen beatup-rusty DSM's go for <$1000
but I've only been doing this since 2002, what do i know.

Lol Of course I am not far in collecting parts for my project. That is why I am starting here. You have to start somewhere.
Edit: Been doing some looking online, and I might have found another 1.5L locally. It might be a long shot but if it works it works.
