I sent my Psi-Fi large FMIC back, i wasnt happy with the quality of it at all, but I dont doubt it produced gains.
Anyways, I would like the large Spearco unit, if the thing would ever be released, so in the mean time this has caught my eye, cost of $699.
Any opinions to the design on the endtanks or overall construction?

End tank design doesn't mean much. The intercooler core itself is where the magic happens. If it fits your car, then it's fine.

Those are some sweet welds, except for the bead on the end of the pipe.

End tank design is interesting but I don't know how much I like it. The welding is for sure decent. It is not too easy to do a visually decent bead for a tube end.

Quality and fabrication is nice, but that end tank design is interesting to say the least... I'd personally stray from something that obnoxious and unorthodox.

They went to all the trouble to put nice bends on the end tanks, but didn't do a decent taper on the ends? They just open up into the full height of the FMIC. If they would have tapered it more, it would have been great. Still probably not too bad though.
