Hey members. Sorry for the repost, but the previous thread got deleted somehow. My name is Andre and I have a '91 Galant VR-4 #1899/2K. Right now I'm having difficulty getting my new MAP stage 1 2.3 stroker engine running. Is there anyone in the Duluth area who would be willing to help me? This is my first ever tuner car and I'm a beginner at best when it comes to working on cars, but I'm always trying to learn more. I can pay you with whatever food, beer, trades, and also money for tuning later on. My goal is to get the car running for the cookout, but that might not be realistic. Thanks and k+.

Take it to Archer Racing, they're definitely the DSM specialists in Duluth.

Take it to Archer Racing, they're definitely the DSM specialists in Duluth. This changed slightly as of recent as their main DSMer (Brian) left for other ventures.

I have been to Archer numerous times for parts, questions, and service. If possible I would like to avoid having it lugged up there because the shop hours are expensive. Spoke with Brian a few times, but I believe he has a marine welding job now. Taking it to Archer would be the last and most expensive option.

Well, let's start by having you describe in detail what the problem is.

Well, I can't get fuel up to the rail. When I take off one of the hoses that comes off the FPR, it has vapor, but not enough pressure. Am I supposed to unhook the MPI relay near the ECU to prime? Also cannot connect my ECU to dsmlink. I keep getting a command timeout error. I have spark and air, but no fuel or ECU. The check engine light stays on, so I know that is ECU related.
