***For those that haven't been there it is about 2 hours or 120 miles from Maple Grove, MN.***

I may make the June 6th for a test and tune prior to the proving grounds, but we'll see. Otherwise post proving grounds this could be a fun time to caravan up and do some racing.

I put all the these dates on my calendar and I could actually make them since I work 2-10 on thursday and usually have wed. off.

I think we should bump this thread when someone is going. I got a month at least till my car is together though.

I am going to make one of these. My car isn't ready yet but should be for june dates. I am going to take a day off for this. Probably half day Wednesday off and Thursday morning off.

I'll aim to make the first one in June, should be doable.

I am a little worried about their exhaust requirements...what about my open dump? Will they really actually get mad at that?

I do not know, hopefully someone can chime in. I am in the same situation, currently the stealth is mufflerless, think SRT-4 style.

Open dumps are fine. I've seen plenty of them before. Probably need more than an open downpipe though. From my experience, tech is super lax on Wed nights. Basically if your battery is tied down (or in a good box for guys with relocations) and there is no shit thats going to fall off the car going down the track you are good. Oh, and a cage if you are fast enough to need one. Even helmet requirements are pretty loose. I ran multiple times with my snowmobile helmet. Every time went about like this- Tech Guy: "Got a helmet?" Me: "Yep" Tech Guy: "OK, you're good to go".

Yeah tech is usually pretty reasonable, but I guess you never know for sure.

I'd love to make one of these if a bunch of people are going. Wouldn't really be able to until July though due to the wedding/house crap we are currently knee deep in.

Ok that was how it was in 2005 or 2006, last time I made one of these events.

Snell 2000 helmets are not NHRA legal anymore, but if the tech person does not look at the tag then shame on them.
