Forest is an awesome lake for it! We also make it up to the Park rapids area a few times a year since my brother inlaw lives there. We fish Mantrap, elk, and Bemidji. Last year my two friends fished in the PMTT so I didn't get out much with them, and haven't heard if they will be doing it this yr or not. He did call me though and said he wants to try a few diffrent things on Forest this yr. So much excite!

I actually fish Linwood lake a lot. We catch a lot of pike out of there and some nice bass also. Great place to relax because there are hardly any boats there.

i have gotten pretty good at bass fishing and i fish a few turnny's in the summer i use mostly for baitcasters i use lamiglas excel rods, and abu garcia revo's(got 2 stx and 2 sx) for spinning rods and reels i like the gandermoutain gsx II elite with shimano sahara. went down to the river last week and hit them hard ended up just using senkos and catching smallies and large mouth at the same location(this is very rare) reeled them in almost every other cast

I'd like to fish Linwood sometime since Im literally minutes away. For now I stick to my mother in laws lake for the non-serious stuff.

Here's a few pics of the fish we've caught out of the lake.

The lake has no access so it is for the most part and is only 60 acres but is fed by a larger lake and the sunrise river

We've even caught ski's in this lake.

Went out today. Caught a few pikes and a few 2-4lb bass and snapped a pic of my wife's 33" northern.

She wouldn't hold it so my brother in law had to.

Got this 25" Walleye on Memorial day fishing with my dad in Wisconsin. Weighed 4lbs 14oz. It made two meals for the gf and I.

As soon as I can shoot fish with my 10-.22 (legally) I'll start fishing. I'm no good at getting fish, but I can take care of the drinking :D
