Hi,

I just got a big 16g turbo, and I was wondering what does it mean to......feed it from the head. I know they are talking about the turbo. (It's suggested that you feed your 16g from the head) off the forum.

Can somebody clarify this for me.....

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Feed from the factory oil port on the head. When looking at the motor from t he front, it's on the left side obviously, opposite of the cams. Exact opposite side of the exhaust cam. It's a banjo bolt thats kind of larger.

Feeding off the oil filter would require you to have SS line from the OFH.

Here is a picture. It is recommended to feed most all journal bearing turbo's from the head as the excessive oil pressure coming from the oil filter housing can cause oil to leak by the seals and cause your car to smoke. You can just use a banjo bolt where the allen headed plug is. No need to retap the head.
