I have a roomate that has finally gotten on my last nerve and I am wondering how others have delt with it. This kid, he is 19 and gives decent teens I know a bad rep. He doesn't clean up after himself and has random people over to destroy our house and yell and scream and drink until 230am when other roomates have gotta work early.
This kid never signed the lease so does he basically have almost no rights other then he has been paying rent so at the end of march we could kick him out? He paid first/last months rent and I honestly don't wan't to kick him out but could I make friends he has over leave? I am honestly considering calling the cops and saying kids are drinking underage that's how much I hate this kid now but I am not sure if I wanna be that much of a dick. I am wondering what other members have done because I know people on this forum have probably had plenty of bad roomates.

if he is not on the lease he has no rights i believe. i wouldnt directly kick him up but confront him and if the behavior does not improve just kick him out. and if he is drinking underage anyways it wont really matter because you could just call the cops. 2 things to use as bargaining chips to help control the situation.

its the same thing as kicking your kid out when he is 18, no name on the lease so you cannot be forced back into your parents house if they kick you out after 18

i agree with virdiionplague, if hes not on the lease he has zero rights...unless he signed a sub-lease agreement with an old roomate?....but as stated above use the bargaining chips that'll shape him up, if not? peace homie

Keep in mind if it's a place where everyone living there has to be on the lease, it's not him that could be the entire issue. Boot him asap and give him the prorated rent paid back so nobody has anything else at stake.
