Looking to see if anyone can give me some info on Glow Shift stuff. Im looking into a gauge pod for my truck the Glow Shift one is about $20 cheaper then an Autometer one and comes in grey to match factory vs the black Autometer one. Looking for fit quality and overall quality.

I have the glowshift one and like it, but i have trouble keeping it snug to the a pillar on the top. As far as color, you could always piss can it gray, but it would eventually chip or scratch overtime.

I had one in the evo and it was a good fit till the cage when in then went to autometer cage mount cups

Just the name "Glowshift" makes me not want to use their products to monitor my engine. lol

I see them broken all the time, but the people who use them usually don't have the best quality installs either. They scream cheap junk though.

I'm looking more at just the gauge pod not the actual gauges. Already made up my mind on gauges.

If Shane says they suck, they probably do, since he encounters more of this type of stuff than most people here. But keeping in mind you want to match the same factory color, you pry have no other choice then to go with the Glow Shift.

Worst come to worst, you just replace the Glow Shift if it winds up being junk. It is cheap enough for that I'd say.
