I'm having a couple things black anodized the week of Feb 27th, and there is a minimum charge of $110. The parts I'm having done won't come close to meeting the minimum, so I'm seeing if anyone wants to buy in and share some of the cost. (not going to ask a lot since I'll be having my stuff done anyway)
Anybody want to black anodize their fuel rails or FMIC? Or some other aluminum part? No crap/chinese intercoolers are allowed if they are epoxied, end tanks have to be welded.

Where are you having them done?
Powderkeg did hood pins for me for cheap, they didn't have a mininum. (You can imagine 2 hood pins weren't $110 hahaha)

FYI some garrett cores are epoxied too.

He is talking about anodizing, PowderKeg doesn't have that equipment.

Pioneer metal finishing is where I got the quote from.
Aaron informed me that PowderKeg does in fact do anodizing, I have sent him a PM to see what it'll cost.
It sounds like the Pioneer would be a cheaper option if we can get a batch of stuff all done for $110, vs paying $20-$30 per part.

They just dip it in a tank and then dye it, I dont think it would really cost more than anything else.

Any other color options instead of black?

Well PowderKeg just told me they don't anodize, so I'm going with Pioneer metal finishings. Who wants to get fuel rails done for $10? $30-40 for an intercooler? Pretty cheap prices for a group. ETS charges $100 per intercooler, plus shipping both ways.
b00sted_spyder - yes, other colors are available, but you might have to pay another $110 for a second batch. I'll contact them and get back to you.

Hanson, you shipping this stuff to Green Bay? Just so happens I will be back home in GB from Mar. 3-7th or 8th. I might be interested in getting some stuff done and I could bring everything back to MN.
I'm guessing it would cost another min. of $110 to do another color.

They have a branch in Minneapolis. I spoke to the GB rep this morning and she said I could just drop it off here. I don't really want to wait until mid March to get my parts, hoping to have the car running by then.
