I have a 1g basically stock, im going install V3. I just want to make sure im correct about this... I can replace the stock o2 sensor with a wideband sensor without the need to weld an additional bung because ecmlink v3 has the narrowband simulation function eliminating the need for the stock o2 sensor. right? just put the wideband in the stock o2 bung?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most wideband sensors burn up quickly when they're in place of the o2 sensor? I had always thought they needed to be certain distance from the discharge on the turbine outlet.

^ agreed, plus for it to read most accurately closer to your downpipe mid section ive always read and had most success with.

I haven't had problems with mine in the stock location. Plus I consider sensors a yearly replacement item anyway due to their low cost these days. They used to be crazy expensive.
