Yeah, at least I am OK...At least I have you guys for some support :) I guess I will be going AWD now?

Oh yeah, and to make things worse I forgot to mention the reckless driving ticket I got for totalling my baby...

It's like I got kicked in the face, and the cop kicked me a few more times while I was on the ground...

Did he witness it happen? How could he give you the ticket? I would have made something up like "I was cut off by another driver who was coming over into my lane and had to swreve to miss him". :P

Damn that sucks! But your right, it's just a car and as long as your alright everything will work out in the end.

No, he didn't see it, but my car was rotated 180 degrees on a sidewalk...He took pictures of the skid marks (if there were any?) and my car. It was obvious I was going too fast. I couldn't think of anything bright to say at the time...Any ideas for my court appearance???

Just plead guilty and own up to the fact you were going to fast....why does every one try and get out of what they were doing?

In this case I agree, unless the road conditions where bad, I bet if you plead guilty, be respectful, and just look/seem bummed about the whole thing I don't see anything really bad happening since they might think your car being total is punishment enough.

Mainly because my insurance rates will skyrocket on the accident alone, all I need is a reckless...Why wouldn't you try to get out of it?
