The 350Z isn't bad, it would be decently fun car. I wouldn't mind one for a track car, even though I don't like the looks of a lot of them. I like how the 370Z looks much much more. The newer MR2 would be fun, they have a couple problems depending on the year that you would want to make sure they are already fixed or take care of. Older MR2 requires a mechanic to own it. The WRX is not a sports car and they have all kinds of problems with some miles on them. RSX, boring. S2000s are fairly solid in near stock form. Miatas are awesome if he isn't turned off by it being a Miata.

My buddy had an FD, and as awsome is that car is it's a headache to own. You have to know damn near everything about them or they don't seem to last. They are pretty tempermental machines, easily blown up by the uninformed, and may be to much of a chore to have for a fun car depending on how much you know about them, what kind of condition it's in, and how you mod it.

Any mods? How much? I will let him know and see if hes interested.
Has a nice catback, and I have a carbon fiber intake that's not installed, otherwise all stock. It's triple black, it's even got factory nav which apparently is rarer than rare according to the techs at BMW of Minnetonka, they've never seen one. I'd sell it for $7500, it'll be $9500 this spring.
