I randomly ran across a posting on a gaming forum about this place and checked it out today.

It's called Fallout Shelter Arcade. They have 12 Mechwarrior pods setup in a building in Minneapolis. It was pretty fun and reasonably priced, I played for 2 hours for $15. I'll be going back again sometime soon. The other players were kind of goofballs, but I think that's to be expected. I think they are only open on Saturday and Sunday but I think it's pretty fluid because they just opened recently.

It's probably been more than a decade since I played MechWarrior. Didn't it was still around.

Wow, we used to go and play those networked Mechwarrior pods in Chicago back in the early 90s. They were amazing shit back then.

Yeah, I had a friend that was a REAL Mechwarrior nut...we were both gonna drive to Chicago some weekend to check those out but the center closed before we could make it there. Cool to see they're still being used...
