Hey, Just wondering what the torque specs are for lug nuts? I have always used 55 ft/lbs, and im sure i saw this somewhere.
Anyways, My winter wheels are steelies, as i know the torque specs may be different depending on the material of the wheel. Anyone know what the torque would be?

I've always done 100 ft/lbs, especially on steelies.

I only do 80-85lbs. I hate taking off over torqued lug nuts off.

I've usually done 100ft/lbs too, by that I mean I just get them really tight and if I feel anal I break out a tq wrench.

I do 70 on the WRX and 75 on the X (both within factory spec range).

Same. On regular alloy rims, 80 is the min I tighten lugs to. Steelies I always torque to 100ft/lbs.

Actually, I correct myself. I use number 3 on my air ratchet. :D

The tighter the less chance they fall off, which I found out, is bad. Dsm's have pretty stout studs, probably have to go over 150ft lbs to start stretching them.
