So I thought I wanted to buy a GVR4. I bought it. I have the title. I really do hate DSMs.
So about the car.
It didn't start when it was cold. It does now but it runs like sh|t. Like it needs a TPS or the TPS needs to be adjusted. Tried 2 different ECUs. Coolant temp sensors are both good.
it has an ebay 16g that is blown on it also that'll need to be replaced
It responds to the throttle until it slightly warms up, then it does throw a CEL(couldn't check it, didn't have proper logger).
I have ZERO motivation to fix it. I thought I did two days ago when I bought it. I do not have the patience or time.
I'm only asking what I have into it which is (EDIT: ) $950. (it was 850, but now it's 850 + 100 tow)
FIRST one with cash, gets it. Not holding for anyone, not taking any payments.
the body is a 7 outta 10, no rust, some dents, nothing major major.
Hood has rock chips that have surface rust unlike other gvr4's with mega cancer on their hoods.
It has:
a small nice bar+plate FMIC (looks like a garrett core) w/ 2.5" pipes
3" turboback
walbro 255
5 lug conversion
Blizzak snow tires
stock injectors, stock 1g maf
that's all. No pictures but it's a dark green gvr4 that looks old, not beat up, and in good condition.
