I got pulled over by a maplewood cop on Whitebear this past summer in my evo and the cop wasn't a super big dick about my exhaust but gave me a tint, front plate and no signaling ticket.

Hopefully court goes well and you can stay off white bear as much as possible in the future.

Also, there is really no decibel reading needed for exhaust in MN (doesn't mean you can't BS them into thinking it is needed :p ). If it crackles and pops at all (which is completely up to officer discretion) it is by law illegal (which pretty much any aftermarket exhaust will do).

The "crackles and pops" is part of the muffler law, statute 169.69 (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=169.69) but is only a part of the story.

The actual overall noise law for a greater than 2 wheel vehicle, under 10,000 lbs is defined by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The MPCA statute 7030.1060 (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/?id=7030.1060) provides a nice chart for your reference:

Now that i commute more it is shitty to hear fart cans on POS cars, yesterday i was on 35E and a had a shitastic honda hatch drive by that thing not only sounded bad, but it hit a bump and I swear looked like it bounced for a mile and that it was gonna bounce off the ground.

If your license was suspended in their system, i give you a 10% it was their mistake but most likely you didn't pay a fine or just didn't know. Happened to me with a no insurance ticket once.

yeah i was over in the other lane behind a truck that was passing the dickhead cop i have a 4 in intake that i made. So you cant even tell its recirculated thats the only thing he could have herd next to that bus and the truck

My car sounds nothing like yours infact the only car on here that my car sounds like belongs to 1GDSM, he has a stock car only my car sounds shittier because of exhaust leaks.

The only thing we have in common is we both own DSMs and well that makes me look bad.
