Then don't beat around the bush and maybe we can help ease your pain.

You don't make any sense, but you beat around the bush better than anyone on this board. Pretty much, I was calling you an idiot for assuming all this shit when in reality none of us have any idea of what happened. Fatty pretty much summed up my opinion on the matter with his post, the kid could have fell asleep or whatever, but because he made a post "before" the accident (again, that post could have been made 4 days before it happened for all we know) on facebook, you and everyone else want him crucified. Nothing like blind justice I suppose.

I just want to help you.

I assumed that cops do profile sporty imports more when involved in crashes like this one or when earlier some kid in a 3G eclipse felt the need to almost hit and cutoff people in rush hour on 494.

I did call the kid a fuckbag for killing innocent people.

I posted this to link why cops may act the way they do "pulling people over for no reason" so people(those that think they get pulled over for no reason) can see why.

I made one post that said "I agree with his FB post" infering that I would of guessed he was speeding, was he breaking the speed limit, maybe, lets say fuck no way he wasn't. But was he going to fast for him, i would say yes.

Now, do i think a 21 yr. old should lose the rest of his life for some dumb mistake, to be honest I'm thankful its not my choice, but on the flip what about the 1 that is dead and the other guy (I don't know if he is still alive), what do their families deserve? Their kids, wives?

I never said the kid should get anally raped or anything and yes it was wrong of me to lean toward thinking he was speeding because he was driving a nice sports car. (Assuming awd tt, i'd love to have one)

So I'm an idiot for assuming the kid was speeding, sure. You trying to tell me you didn't think that a bit?

But you make it sound like I'm trying to get a rally to get this kid fucking ended. That I am not.

I have my opinion and I state it.
That is who I am, I am more than reasonable to listen and learn it has happened before and I know will continue throughout my life. But I ask you don't try to make me look dumb or insult me because I have no want to hide or cup someone's ballsack on a matter.

A simple, don't you think it is wrong to assume esp. now that we know the kid wasn't speeding. Lesson learned, I'll just think it in my head and see what happens, but people make assumptions all the times on lots of things I think its human nature.

Sorry I have inconvienienced you all.

WCCO (CBS) news last night was FUNNY! They had a report of this accident, a clear helicopter pic of the car and the reporter expounded about the facebook post. He then said that they showed the pictures to an EXPERT on cars who said the car was either an Eclipse or 3000 GT...

My wife enjoyed watching me laughing and rolling around on the floor...

Very sad story, my thoughts go out to all involved. I can't imagine what any of them are going through right now.

so im not supporting this kid one bit... but what if he was driving casual, obeying the speed limits and perhaps someone was being a jackass towards the (stupid kid in the import) and pushed him off the road.. or what if he did fall asleep at the wheel? this could have been a simple yet tragic mistake. i wouldnt blame the kid for anything till the police release anything on the subject.. plus would it have made as big of a hit if he were just driving a mini van or a prius?? people see the import and automatically assume the worst..

I actually agree with Fatty for once on this one. I think this was just a tragic accident, nothing more, I don't think the kid was screwing around, I think it was inexperience driving in adverse conditions. What was on his FB page really should be irrelevant.

It really is sad about the construction workers though, I can't imagine the trauma that the wife and kids face when dad is now gone forever. Another sad thing, there was a major accident earlier yesterday right in front my office on 169 and 77th. A younger guy in a F150 crew cab went around the guard rail and slammed into a large steel and concrete sign post at a good clip. There was over 30 cops, ambulances and fire trucks there trying to get the driver out of the truck. They airlifted him to the hospital, I'm not sure if he made it or not. Considering most of the engine was pushed into the cab, I kinda doubt it.

That younger guy, if he lives, will have an incredible bill. One guy I know was billed 40,000 dollars for an airlift when a big machine fell on him and broke his back. over 30 cops, multiple amberlampses and fire trucks! Jebus that's some huge expense for one car. I'm not saying he shouldn't have had the best response, but I bet the same could have been done with 3 cops, 1 amberlamps and one firetruck. Oh well, I wasn't there and I'm not a cop.

I agree with the FB stuff.

But adverse conditions?
where?
I've driven that road twice since they have been working there and will be again later. Something just sounds not right to me.

Just being from out of town makes it more dangerous. People in southern states seem to speed more from what I've see.

you can't tell me you don't know when you're getting tired. stupid kid should have pulled off the road if he was tired. I'll bet his dumb ass was texting while driving. that alone is stupid and it's even worse in a construction area. but yes I think he should be hung out to dry for this. he killed people just doing their job in a place they were supposed to feel safe. at the very least they should make him do 180 days in jail so he has time to reflect on the pain he put those families through.

Thankfully thats not for you to decide. Again with the assumptions. It comes down to negligence and whether he knew what he was doing be speeding through the construction zone, or whether he was just driving normally and thought he was going to hit a cone or something and overcorrected. Shit happens, lets not assume things. And i would be willing to bet they have video on it. So I'm sure the truth will come out.
I am not going to pass judgement on this kid as it does no good. It could have happened to ANY one here. Doesn't matter the skill of the driver, or what kind of car, or what the conditions. We cannot punish accidents where it was truly an accident. The kid didn't run down the construction workers or do it on purpose. If he was speeding through the zone then yes, give him some time. But if he just simply lost control over corrected sorry but we don't want to go down this road. It simply comes down to Negligence. I had actually just heard a conversation about this on Kfan on friday talking about some case going on. If we start prosecuting people for true accidents where the person was just Negligent, based on the result of the negligence, then whats to say we can't prosecute parents to lose track of their kids at the beach and the kid drowns. etc.
If the kid would have crashed anywhere else, there would likely have been no injuries besides his own and this wouldn't have even been a story.
