Alright guys, long story short, I did a 6 bolt swap into my 2g and now it's having the common random misfire problem. I have DSMLink and the cables but don't have the laptop. I just need to borrow one of you local DSMer laptop quick to uncheck a button "Check for misfire" quick. Would be awesome if you're around the Plymouth/MPLS/St. Paul area but doesn't have to. Thanks in advance!

You could just go to dsmlink.com and download the new version or use a flash drive or original CD.
If you want to PM me your number, I hope to be driving my car around tomorrow and maybe we can meet up.

I have the software and everything. It's just the other end of the cable doesn't have anywhere to plug into my laptop because it's a newer laptop. I tried to look for a cable that is a USB but couldn't find it.
But yeah dude, I'll be in Blaine tomorrow so that'll be great. Lmk!

C'mon fellow dsmer's! I'm not taking the laptop with me lol. I'll just do a quick log, uncheck a box quick and that's it. I'll come by your place and even buy you lunch :P

Thanks Aaron for leading me to go get the cable adapter. Best Buy doesn't have it anymore but Radio Shack has it though. Thanks again bro!

Apparently my online persona doesn't reflect it but I like to help out.
Good luck with the rest of it!
